It's maddening. One state has too much moisture. Another too little.
The arrival of summer this month means Floridians can once again expect the air here to go from moist to downright clammy.
When our gripes and sighs rise to the heavens, it's good to remember that Californians would gladly take some of that moisture off of our hands. The Golden State is in its fifth year of a drought. The government there declared a state of emergency and residents have had to take shorter showers and turn off sprinklers.
So Times illustrator Don Morris wondered: What if there were a way for technology to give Mother Nature a boost...
