Kids Photography Bootcamp: Youth will learn how to photograph different subjects and in different styles. One day will be devoted to camera modes and settings; the next day will be filled with creative photography. Participants will receive a booklet of camera settings, a photo art shadow box they will create during the program, and copies of their favorite prints from workshop. Bring a bag lunch. Academia Hernando Spring 2017 Lecture Series: "Transitioning to the New President," by Daniel Ruth. The series includes eight lectures and one field trip. Throw Down the Mountain Disc Golf Tournament: The Professional Disc Golf Association-sanctioned Vibram Open qualifier (B-Tier competition) will begin at 7:30 a.m. March 18 and 19 at Gran Canyon Mountain Bike Trail, 9020 Cooper Terrace (off Mondon Hill Road), east of Brooksville. (941) 894-0928.

Brooksville's Market on Main Street: Main Street will be filled with vendors selling arts and crafts, health products and food. The street will be closed from Broad to Jefferson streets. 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free. Downtown Brooksville.

Brookridge Bingo Bash: Games start at 10 a.m; doors open at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Brookridge scholarship fund. Reservations required. $35, which includes lunch, coffee and doughnuts. Brookridge Clubhouse, 8150 Hampton St., Brookridge. (352) 596-7645.

Salute to Vets Orchid Show and Sale: Visitors can take in the fragrant orchids on display at Orchid Lovers Club of Spring Hill's annual show and sale. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $2, which includes one free ticket for an hourly drawing. Family Fun Archery Tournament: During the four-hour program, families will learn beginner archery on Chinsegut's target range, then have the opportunity to compete as a team against other families. 'Planting a Refuge for Wildlife': Learn to create usable space in a yard to attract wildlife. CPR/automated external defibrillator class: The class is designed for the professional health care provider and meets the guidelines of the American Heart Association.
