ITB26-013 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT - CORONA VIRUS (CDBG-CV) SIDEWALK INSTALLATION PROJECT
The City of New Port Richey is accepting sealed bids for the ITB26-013 Community Development Block Grant - Corona Virus (CDBG-CV) Sidewalk Installation Project addressed to the City of New Port Richey, City Clerk’s Office, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey, Florida 34652. Bids will be received at the City Clerk’s Office until 2:00 p.m., local time, on December 15, 2025. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
A bid opening will be held promptly at 2:00 p.m., local time, on December 16, 2025 in the Council Chambers, First Floor, City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey, Florida 34652, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The results of the bid opening will be posted on the City’s website after the bid opening is complete.
The project is a Community Development Block Grant program project and involves the installation of approximately 7,900 linear feet of a six-foot (6ft.) wide sidewalk system. The project consists of general construction activities associated with sidewalk installation. The project specifically addresses a lack of sidewalks within a geographical area of the city. The project is financed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered by the Florida Department of Commerce (Florida Commerce).
Bid drawings and documents may be requested by emailing Robert Johnson, PE at rjohnson@ectinc.com. Drawings and specifications may also be examined at the City of New Port Richey Public Works Facility, 6132 Pine Hill Road, Port Richey, FL 34668.
Attention to bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, Section 109 of Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and bonding and insurance requirements.
The city reserves the right to waive any irregularities or to reject any and all bids. The city is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid a security in the amount, form and as described in the conditions as provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. Each bid must be submitted, in triplicate, on the prescribed Proposal forms. The outside of the envelope must be clearly marked with the bidder’s name and full address along with “ITB26-013 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT - CORONA VIRUS (CDBG-CV) SIDEWALK INSTALLATION PROJECT.”
Email all questions to, Robert Johnson, PE at rjohnson@ectinc.com by 4:00 PM on December 1, 2025. A single response addressing all questions will be e-mailed to all bidders of record by 4:00 PM on December 4, 2025. Each bid must be submitted, in triplicate, on the prescribed Proposal forms.
