The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public workshop for the Ayers Road Extension Feasibility Study. The workshop will be held in-person on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, workshop materials will be available on the project webpage.
FDOT is conducting a feasibility study to evaluate the potential extension of Ayers Road eastward from US 41 to I-75 in Pasco and Hernando Counties, Florida. The purpose of this study is to identify and document potential fatal flaws, establish logical termini, define the project’s purpose and need, and evaluate potential corridors or alternatives if improvements are warranted.
To allow for maximum participation, the public workshop will be held in-person and posted online. The information presented will be identical for both formats.
In-Person Option: Attend the public workshop in person anytime on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ridge Manor Community Center, located at 34240 Cortez Boulevard, Ridge Manor, Florida 33523. Attendees will receive project information, view project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team.

Comments received or postmarked by November 5, 2025, will be included in the official meeting record. FDOT is sending notices to nearby property owners, business owners, interested persons, and organizations to provide the opportunity to offer comments and express their views regarding this project and the proposed alternatives.
