HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY AVIATION AUTHORITY (AUTHORITY)
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Authority intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to Altel Systems Group for paging system software and hardware, including controllers, servers, lifelines, amplifiers, interfaces, mainframes, microphone stations, input modules, software, and licensing at Tampa International Airport, that will provide the newest and most flexible technology available, incorporating the latest safety and cybersecurity upgrades. It must also provide enhanced features, such as remote monitoring and maintenance, a FIDS software interface, and expansion capabilities to integrate with systems like SkyConnect. Additionally, it should offer improved ADA capabilities, including visual paging, hearing aid channels, and multi-language communications.

Firms who believe they can meet or exceed these requirements must provide in writing convincing technical data sufficient to support their position.
