NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will hold a public hearing at the West Pasco Government Center Board Room, 1st Floor, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654 on December 9, 2025, at 1:30 PM, to consider a petition submitted by Compass Land USA Fund 1 LP to vacate the following platted right-of-way and utility easement:
The undeveloped right-of-way labeled Moon Lake Road on Plat Book 5 Pages 151-153, west of Lots 6 – 15, together with the internal lot lines of Lots 6 – 18, and together with the utility easement along the rear of Lots 6 – 18, resulting in two tracts, Tract A-100 and Tract A-101.
All affected parties have a right to appear at this public hearing, to be heard regarding these issues, and to file written objections with the BCC, at the address above, before the public hearing. All interested persons in support of, or opposed to the vacation, are invited to attend the public hearing and give comment. Any person who wants to appeal any decision made by the BCC with respect to any matter considered at any meeting or public hearing will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made at their own expense, and which record includes the testimony and evidence on which the appeal is to be based.
