NOTICE OF
CITY OF OLDSMAR’S PROPOSED ELECTION TO NOT EXEMPT AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROPERTY

In accordance with Section 196.1978(3)(o)5 and Section 50.011(1), Florida Statutes, the City of Oldsmar, Florida, does hereby give public notice of its intention to consider the adoption of Resolution 2025-27. The title of the Resolution is as follows:

RESOLUTION 2025-27

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OLDSMAR, FLORIDA, OPTING OUT OF PROVIDING THE 80-120% AMI “MISSING MIDDLE” PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION TO DEVELOPMENTS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE QUALIFY PURSUANT TO HOUSE BILL 7073; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.

The consideration of said Resolution will be held at 7:00 PM, December 02, 2025, in the Oldsmar Council Chambers, 101 State Street W, Oldsmar, Florida, 34677. The purpose of this agenda item is to take public comment and to consider authorizing the adoption of the Resolution.

A complete copy of the Resolution may be inspected by any interested person, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., in the City Clerk’s Office, Oldsmar City Hall, 100 State Street W, Oldsmar, Florida, 34677. Interested parties may submit written comments at or before the meeting or attend the public meeting to be heard by the City Council regarding the proposed Resolution.
