NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
THE TOWN OF ST. LEO, FLORIDA, PROPOSES TO ADOPT:
ORDINANCE NO. 26-03

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ST. LEO, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE X OF THE TOWN LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, “DEVELOPMENT REVIEW PROCEDURES AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR GENERAL SITE PLANS AND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS”, BY CREATING SECTION 10.14 “CERTIFIED RECOVERY RESIDENCES”, ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR THE REVIEW, APPROVAL, AND ENFORCEMENT OF REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS FOR CERTIFIED RECOVERY RESIDENCES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A public hearing to adopt this Ordinance will be held by the Town Commission on Monday, January 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter.
The hearing will be held in Town Hall at, 34544 County Road 52, St. Leo, FL 33574.

Copies of the proposed Ordinance may be viewed by the public at Town Hall at 34544 County Road 52, St. Leo, FL 33574 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The public is invited to attend these meetings and/or submit written comments to the Town Clerk’s office regarding the Ordinance.

If any person decides to appeal any decision made by this Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceeding, and that for such purposes, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Persons who need an accommodation in order to attend or participate in this meeting, should contact the Town Clerk at (352) 588-2622 at least 3 business days prior to the meeting in order to request such assistance.
