Bakas Equestrian Center Replacement

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY will receive sealed proposals for the construction of a new County equestrian facility on County-owned land known as the Northwest Equestrian Park (NWEP), located at 10711 South Mobley Road, Odessa, Florida (Folio 002737.0000). As consideration for the construction of the new County facility, the County will convey the property, facilities and improvements associated with the existing Bakas Equestrian Center (BEC) located at 11510 Whisper Lake Trail, Tampa, Florida 33626 (Folio 003517.0151) to the selected proposer. The County will continue to receive sealed proposals until the stated date, time, and location when they will be publicly opened.

It is intended that the selected proposer will fund, design, and construct a turnkey equestrian facility of equal or better quality and size than the existing BEC facility, including all site work and required off-site transportation improvements, at no cost to the County. Proposers should refer to the full set of requirements, minimum specifications, and proposer responsibilities are set forth in the Request for Proposals RFP-26-00094, Bakas Equestrian Center Replacement, available via the Euna Procurement portal at the website address provided below. Upon completion, inspection, and acceptance of the new facility by the County, the County will convey the existing BEC property, facilities and improvements to the selected proposer. The BEC will continue to operate until final conveyance.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY shall consider all qualified proposals and may accept such proposal that has been determined to be the highest and best proposal submitted, and to be in the best interest of the County.
