PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF VIOLATION:
In accordance with the requirements of Rule 62-625.500 (2)(b)8, Florida Administrative Code, notice is hereby given that Reverse Osmosis Plant #1 located at 1657 Palmetto St, FL 33765 was in Significant Non-Compliance (SNC) with the City of Clearwater’s Industrial Pretreatment of Wastewater Ordinance, Article V. Division 2. Sec. 32.219(a). Reverse Osmosis Plant #1 was in Chronic and Technical Review Criteria (TRC) SNC for manganese. TRC manganese concentrations exceeded 1.2 times the daily limit (1.2 X 0.50 mg/L = 0.60 mg/L) in 3 of 3 samples or 100% of the samples taken during the rolling quarter of 04/01/2025 – 09/30/2025. Additionally, Reverse Osmosis Plant #1 was in TRC for the rolling quarter of 07/01/2025 – 12/31/2025. They exceeded the TRC manganese limit of 0.60 mg/L in 3 of 9 samples or 33% of the samples during this quarter.
