NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF OLDSMAR, FLORIDA
In accordance with the City of Oldsmar Code of Ordinances and Florida Statute Sec. 166.041(3)(a):
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Oldsmar will conduct a public hearing on proposed Ordinance 2026-02 on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The public hearing will be held in the City of Oldsmar Council Chamber located at 101 State Street West, Oldsmar, Florida. The title of the said ordinances is as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OLDSMAR, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 5.1.6 (YARDS) AND SUBSECTIONS 5.4.1.5 (BUILDING SITE AREA REQUIREMENTS), 5.4.1.8 (FLOOR AREA AND IMPERVIOUS SURFACE REQUIREMENTS), 5.4.2.5 (BUILDING SITE REQUIREMENTS), 5.4.2.8 (FLOOR AREA AND IMPERVIOUS SURFACE REQUIREMENTS), 5.4.3.5 (BUILDING SITE AREA REQUIREMENTS), 5.4.3.8 (FLOOR AREA AND IMPERVIOUS SURFACE REQUIREMENTS), 5.4.4.6 (BUILDING SITE AREA REQUIREMENTS), 5.4.4.8 (FLOOR AREA RATIO AND IMPERVIOUS SURFACE REQUIREMENTS) OF SECTION 5.4 (RESIDENTIAL) AND SUBSECTIONS 5.9.2.6.2.C (SIDE YARD), 5.9.2.6.2.D (REAR YARD), 5.9.2.6.3.B (REAR YARD) AND 5.9.2.6.3.C (SIDE YARD) OF SECTION 5.9.2.6 (BUILDING AREA REQUIREMENTS) OF SECTION 5.9 (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS) OF ARTICLE V (ZONING REGULATIONS) OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CITY OF OLDSMAR AND AMENDING SECTION 3.3.7 (ACCESSORY STRUCTURES WITHIN THE TOWN CENTER RESIDENTIAL AND TOWN CENTER BOULEVARD DISTRICTS) OF THE ARTICLE III (LAND USE AND ZONING) OF THE TOWN CENTER DEVELOPMENT CODE TO PROVIDE FOR CONSISTENCY OF POOL SETBACK STANDARDS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
All interested parties may appear at the Council Meeting/Public Hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
The proposed ordinance and background materials are available at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 100 State Street, Oldsmar, Florida 34677, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at the Council Meeting/Public Hearings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and, for such purposes, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made. Verbatim transcripts are not provided by the City. Arrangements should be made with an outside agency, i.e., court reporter, in advance to obtain a verbatim transcript.
