NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ORDINANCE NO. 2026-2339

A public hearing will be held on the above titled ordinance at 6:00 pm or as soon as may be heard thereafter on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey, Florida, 34652. The City Council will consider this ordinance’s adoption into law upon its second and final reading on May 5, 2026. The ordinance in its entirety may be inspected at the City Clerk’s Office, Second Floor, City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey, during regular working hours. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to this proposed ordinance, being particularly described as below.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEW PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, GRANTING TO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ITS LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES, SUCCESSOR AND ASSIGNS, A GAS FRANCHISE AND IMPOSING CERTAIN CONDITIONS RELATING THERETO: PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the above City Council with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
