Hello everyone, We are reaching out to you on behalf of the family of the late Rev. Curtiss Leon Long and his wife, Alice Long. Rev. Curtiss Long was the founder and dedicated pastor of New Faith Free Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. Throughout their lives, Curtiss and Alice Long devoted themselves to serving others—supporting families in times of need, uplifting their community, and actively participating in charitable efforts that made a lasting impact. In September 2024, the Mayor and the City of St. Petersburg honored Rev. Curtiss Long’s legacy with a street co-naming in his name—a testament to the incredible difference he made in so many lives. Today, the family needs our help. Due to city code violations, the Long family home—an important part of their legacy—is in need of urgent repairs to remain in compliance. These repairs include painting, soffit and fascia replacement, window updates, and roofing work. While 6 out of the 11 required items have already been completed, there is still more to be done. The city has graciously granted an extension, but time is limited. We are asking for your support to help preserve this home and honor the legacy of a man and family who have given so much to others. If you feel led, please consider being a blessing by donating and “planting a seed” toward this cause. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us closer to completing these necessary repairs. If you are unable to give at this time, we ask that you please share this message with others—through social media, text, or word of mouth. Your support in any form is deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping us continue the legacy of Rev. Curtiss Long and his family. God Bless, The Long Family
