Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
Professional Engineering Services
The City of Wauchula, Florida, is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQs) from qualified engineering firms to provide Professional Engineering Services for a federally-funded Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) infrastructure resiliency project involving the elevation and flood hardening of three (3) sanitary sewer lift stations.
Professional services are expected to include:
- Preliminary engineering
- Surveying and site evaluation
- Design and permitting
- Structural and electrical engineering
- Preparation of plans and specifications
- Bid phase assistance
- Construction administration
- Construction observation
- Record drawings and project closeout
This project is federally funded and procurement shall be conducted in accordance with:
- 2 CFR Part 200
- HUD CDBG-DR requirements
- Florida Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Section 287.055 Florida Statutes
- All applicable federal, state, and local laws
Minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, Section 3 businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit qualifications.

Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2:00pm
