NOTICE TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS
AND TAXPAYERS OF PASCO COUNTY
The Pasco County Value Adjustment Board (VAB) will meet on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Historic Pasco County Courthouse, Board Room, 2nd Floor, 37918 Meridian Ave. Dade City, FL 33525.
The purpose of this meeting is for the VAB to take public comment, approve minutes, select Special Magistrates, and approve the forms for the 2026 VAB Season.
The purpose of the Board is to hear complaints against denials of classifications and exemptions by the Property Appraiser, objections to portability assessments or denials of portability, and objections to the valuation placed on real property and tangible personal property.
Special Magistrates are appointed by the Value Adjustment Board, in compliance with Section 196.194, Florida Statutes, to conduct hearings. Please see www.pascoclerk.com for dates, times, and locations. All parties will be individually notified of specific hearing dates. If you require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, please call (352) 521-4347 no later than two business days prior to the hearing for assistance. Special Magistrate hearings will begin September 2026.
The Pasco County Property Appraiser maintains a list of all applicants for exemption who have had their applications for exemption wholly or partially approved or who have had their exemption denied. This list is available to the public in the Pasco County Property Appraiser’s Office at the East Pasco Government Center, 14236 6th Street, Suite 101, Dade City, Florida 33523, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any person who might wish to appeal any decision made by the Value Adjustment Board regarding any matter considered at the forthcoming meeting is hereby advised that he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made that will include the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
