The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Meeting in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, on July 8, 2026, at 5:30 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to consider:
ORDINANCE 1017 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, AMENDING SUBPART B, “LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE,” OF PART II OF THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART 4-3 SUBDIVISION AND SITE DEVELOPMENT SUBMITTALS, SEC. 4-1.1. CONTENTS, SEC. 4-1.2. ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICIAL FOR PLAT REVIEW, SEC. 4-3.1. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS, PART 8-1 ADMINISTRATION, SEC. 8-1.2. CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER; ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY AND OFFICIAL FOR PLAT REVIEW, SEC. 8-1.4. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, PART 8-2 APPLICATION AND HEARING PROCEDURES, SEC. 8-2.1. SUBDIVISION REVIEW, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies may be reviewed at the Community Development Department Office, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Any person desiring to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered at this meeting may need a record of the proceedings including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, and, therefore, must make arrangements for a court reporter to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made.
