NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AND CITY COUNCIL
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Port Richey, Florida, will hold public hearings on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City Hall, 6333 Ridge Road, Port Richey, Florida, to consider the following proposed amendments to the City of Port Richey Land Development Code.
The City Council of the City of Port Richey, Florida, will hold public hearings on first reading on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, and second reading on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, both at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City Hall, 6333 Ridge Road, Port Richey, Florida, to consider adoption of the following ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. 26-746
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 127 (ZONING), SECTION 127-58, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZONING DISTRICT (PUD), TO REVISE AND CLARIFY REGULATIONS GOVERNING PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS, INCLUDING RESIDENTIAL DENSITY, BUILDING HEIGHT, OPEN SPACE, BUILDING COVERAGE, AND PROCEDURES FOR APPLICATION, APPROVAL, AND MODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
ORDINANCE NO.26-747
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 127 (ZONING), SECTION 127-92, ACCESSORY USES AND STRUCTURES, TO REVISE CITYWIDE REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PARKING AND STORAGE OF BOATS, WATERCRAFT, TRAILERS, AND MAJOR RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of the proposed ordinances and related supporting documents are available for public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 6333 Ridge Road, Port Richey, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearings or may submit written comments to the City Clerk prior to the hearings.

If any person decides to appeal against any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board or City Council with respect to any matter considered at these hearings, that person will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon
