A NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION BY THE
SOUTHWEST FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that the Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) has received an application for a water use permit modification from Hillsborough County BOCC (County), a local government agency, 332 North Falkenburg Road, Tampa, Florida, 33619. Application Number: 20002714.017. Application number was received on May 21, 2026. The predominant use type is agriculture.

Total existing and requested withdrawal average daily quantity is 1,551,900 gallons per day. Total existing and requested peak month quantity is 6,392,600 gpd from three (3) ground water wells and one (1) surface water withdrawal location, with the addition of one (1) ground water well. All withdrawal locations are located in Section(s) 21,22, and 23, Township 31 South, Range 21 East in Hillsborough County. The application is available for inspection Monday through Friday except for legal holidays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:0 p.m. at the District’s Tampa Service Office located at 7601 U.S. Highway 301 North, Tampa, Florida, 33637, or through the “epermitting” function on the District website www.watermatters.org/permits.

Interested persons may inspect a copy of the application and submit written comments concerning the application. Comments must include the permit application number and be received within 14 days from the date of this notice.
