NOTICE OF ORDINANCE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Port Richey, Florida, at a meeting to be held on Tuesday, 11th day of August 2026 at 6:00 P.M., at City Hall, 6333 Ridge Rd., Port Richey, Florida, will have two Public Hearings for the second and final readings of Ordinances No.26-748 and Ordinance No.26-749, the titles of which read:

ORDINANCE 26-748

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, A FLORIDA
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (HEREINAFTER PORT RICHEY) GRANTING
TO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ITS LEGAL
REPRESENTATIVES, SUCCESSOR AND ASSIGNS, (HEREINAFTER
“CLEARWATER”), A GAS FRANCHISE AND IMPOSING CERTAIN
CONDITIONS RELATING THERETO: PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

ORDINANCE NO. 26-749

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (OFFENSES) BY CREATING ARTICLE V (CITY LOGOS AND SLOGANS) AND SECTION 18-95 (USE OF CITY SPECIFIC LOGOS AND SLOGANS) AND SECTION 18-96 (POLICY FOR USE OF CITY SPECIFIC LOGOS AND SLOGANS) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY ADOPTING A POLICY REGARDING THE USE OF CITY OF PORT RICHEY SPECIFIC LOGOS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE

The Ordinances and all related files can be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, at the address mentioned above, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Any and all persons interested or concerned with the proposed ordinances may appear and will be heard regarding the same.

Suppose a person decides to appeal against any decision made by a Board or Council with respect to any matter considered at such a meeting or hearing. In that case, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for that purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
