NOTICE TO PROPOSERS
EAST LAKE TARPON SPECIAL FIRE CONTROL DISTRICT

The East Lake Tarpon Special Fire Control District is accepting sealed proposals from qualified and licensed contractors for the Fire Alarm System Replacement Project at Fire Station 57

The project includes the complete replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new, non-proprietary, addressable, code-compliant fire alarm system, including all required engineering, permitting, installation, testing, inspections, programming, documentation, training, warranties, and all incidental work necessary to provide a complete operational system.

The Request for Proposals (RFP), including detailed specifications, proposal requirements, terms and conditions, and project information, may be obtained from the District’s website at www.elfr.org under Department Info > Public Documents and Forms.

A pre-proposal site visit is recommended. Prospective proposers shall contact the Fire Marshal to schedule a site visit.
Sealed proposals shall be clearly marked:
“RFP No. 57-2026 – Fire Alarm System Replacement – Fire Station 57 – DO NOT OPEN – Attn: Jason Gennaro”

All proposals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. (EST) on August 19, 2026. Late proposals will not be accepted. Proposals shall remain valid for a minimum of 90 calendar days following the proposal due date. The East Lake Tarpon Special Fire Control District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive minor informalities or irregularities, request clarifications, negotiate as permitted by law, and award the contract determined to be in the best interest of the District.
