Notice is hereby given that CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse, Inc.) will receive sealed bids from a State of Florida licensed roofing contractor for replacing the roof at our 8,225 square foot transitional housing apartment complex in St. Petersburg, Florida.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is being held at the project location in St. Petersburg, FL on Sept. 1, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. Because the location is confidential, interested parties need to indicate their interest to Jill Flansburg at jflansburg@casapinellas.org or 727.895.4912 x116 in order to get the address.

Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Owner: CASA, Attn: Jill Flansburg, 1019 Arlington Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33705. Bids will be received until 9:59 A.M. on Sept. 28, 2026. A public bid opening will take place immediately following the receipt of the sealed bids at 10:00 A.M. on Sept 28, 2026, at CASA Program Support Center, 1019 Arlington Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33705. The Bidder will enter into a construction agreement with the Owner upon bid award.

This is a Community Development Block Grant project, funded by the City of St. Petersburg Housing and Community Development Department through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Federal regulations including Federal Labor Standards apply. Details regarding Federal Requirements are included in pre-bid documents. Section 3 Business Concerns, and Minority, Veteran, and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
