HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY AVIATION AUTHORITY (AUTHORITY)
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Authority intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Disabled Aircraft Tools, LLC for the purchase of PlaneSkate™ Aircraft Recovery Tools. Disabled Aircraft Tools, LLC is the designer, manufacturer, and distributor of PlaneSkate™ Aircraft Recovery Tools. The PlaneSkate™ system is engineered to clear a disabled aircraft from an active runway in approximately 17 minutes.
Firms who believe they can meet or exceed the requirements of this product must provide in writing convincing technical data sufficient to support their position.
