NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
CITY OF PORT RICHEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Port Richey, Florida, will hold public hearings concerning the proposed amendment to the City Land Development Code described below. The public hearings will be held at City Hall, 6333 Ridge Road, Port Richey, Florida 34668, on the following dates and times, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard:

Tuesday, September 8, 2026, 6:00 p.m. – City Council first reading of proposed ordinance
Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 6:00 p.m. – City Council second reading of proposed ordinance

The title of the proposed ordinance, which describes the proposed amendment, is as follows:

ORDINANCE NO. 26-747
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 127 (ZONING), SECTION 127-92, ACCESSORY USES AND STRUCTURES, TO REVISE CITYWIDE REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PARKING AND STORAGE OF BOATS, WATERCRAFT, TRAILERS, AND MAJOR RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of the proposed ordinance and related supporting documents are available for public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 6333 Ridge Road, Port Richey, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearings or may submit written comments to the City Clerk prior to the hearings.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), persons needing a special accommodation to participate in these meetings should contact the City Clerk’s Office at (727) 816-1900, ext. 175, at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled hearing.

If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at these hearings, that person will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon.
