IDScan.net Provides Notification of Data Security Incident

On or around September 1, 2026, IDScan.net received information indicating that certain data may have been accessed without authorization. Upon this discovery, IDScan.net took immediate steps to secure our systems and engaged a team of third-party specialists to help determine the full nature and scope of the incident. The investigation is currently ongoing.
While the investigation is ongoing, IDScan.net has determined that an unauthorized third party may have accessed and/or copied certain customer information stored within their accounts on the IDScan.net cloud. The types of information contained within the affected data may include full names and driver’s license or other government-issued identification numbers.
To be diligent, IDScan.net is conducting a comprehensive review of the potentially affected information to identify potentially impacted individuals and will provide those individuals with a notice, including instructions on how to enroll in free credit monitoring services.
At this time, there is no evidence of ongoing unauthorized access to data, and potentially impacted records are those that entered the system before September 1, 2026. Potentially impacted individuals are encouraged to enroll in the free credit monitoring and identity protection services IDScan.net is making available and to monitor their account statements for suspicious activity and to detect errors.
IDScan.net has established a toll-free call center to answer questions about the incident and to address related concerns. The hotline number is 1-833-516-2980. The hotline operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM EST, excluding holidays.
