NOTICE OF ORDINANCE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Port Richey, Florida, at a meeting to be held on Tuesday, the 13th day of October 2026 at 6:00 P.M., at City Hall, 6333 Ridge Rd., Port Richey, Florida, will have two Public Hearings for the second and final readings of Ordinances No.26-750 and Ordinance No.26-751, the titles of which read:

ORDINANCE NO. 26-750
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, REZONING
APPROXIMATELY 8.53 ACRES COMPRISING THE PARCELS IDENTIFIED AND
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM THE C-2 WATERFRONT
COMMERCIAL AND C-3 GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICTS TO
THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) ZONING DISTRICT; APPROVING THE VELA AT COTEE RIVER LANDING PUD GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PROJECT-SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND CONDITIONS OF
APPROVAL; AUTHORIZING DEVELOPMENT OF UP TO 240 MULTIFAMILY

AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

ORDINANCE NO.26-751
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 127, ARTICLE III, SECTION 127-55 OF THE PORT RICHEY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO REMOVE AMPLIFIED MUSIC FROM NONPERMITTED ACTIVITIES, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The Ordinances and all related files can be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, at the address mentioned above, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Any and all persons interested or concerned with the proposed ordinances may appear and will be heard regarding the same.

Suppose a person decides to appeal against any decision made by a Board or Council with respect to any matter considered at such a meeting or hearing. In that case, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for that purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
