Listed below is an industrial user that is in Significant Non-Compliance of the pretreatment standards for its process wastewater discharge (EPA 40 CFR):

VIOLATION: The process wastewater discharge exceeded the daily maximum Technical Review Criteria standard for cyanide for the following months: October 2025, November 2025, December 2025, January 2026, February 2026, March 2026, April 2026, May 2026, June 2026. These exceedances constitute a significant noncompliance status.

ACTION TAKEN: Sun Country Materials, LLC was issued a Notice of Violation on June 26, 2026, requiring additional sampling and a review of the wastewater treatment system to be conducted to identify the source of the cyanide.
