HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY AVIATION AUTHORITY (AUTHORITY)
NOTICE OF STANDARDIZATION OF SERVICES AND
INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A CONTRACT

The Authority intends to approve a standardization of services for IER SAS, Easier IER Commercial eGate solution. This solution is currently used for passenger processing, access control, and identity verification in the airport environment. The Authority implemented the Easier IER Commercial eGate solution in 2020 and currently has 48 gates in operation across Tampa International Airport.

The solution directs passengers to the appropriate airside or checkpoint area, prevents early entry, verifies boarding eligibility and other required credentials, processes biometric identification for international boarding requirements, provides real-time flight load factors and passenger flow information, interfaces with flight display software, LIDAR software and other airport systems, and can close access points based on last and first flight status or lobby passenger capacity.
