NOTICE OF ORDINANCE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Port Richey, Florida, at a meeting to be held on Tuesday, the 27th day of October 2026 at 6:00 P.M., at City Hall, 6333 Ridge Rd., Port Richey, Florida, will have two public hearings for the second and final reading of Ordinance No.26-752, the title of which reads:

ORDINANCE NO. 26-752

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (OFFENSES), BY CREATING ARTICLE V, “DESIGNER DRUGS”; CREATING SECTION 18-100 GENERAL FINDINGS OF FACT; CREATING SECTION 18-101 SPECIFIC FINDINGS OF FACT REGARDING KRATOM; CREATING SECTION 18-102 DEFINITIONS; CREATING SECTION 18-103 REGULATION OF DESIGNER DRUGS AND MISBRANDED CONSUMER COMMODITIES; CREATING SECTION 18-104 VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The Ordinance and all related files can be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, at the address mentioned above, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Any and all persons interested or concerned with the proposed ordinances may appear and will be heard regarding the same.

Suppose a person decides to appeal against any decision made by a Board or Council with respect to any matter considered at such a meeting or hearing. In that case, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for that purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
