INVITATION TO BID
The City of Sebring will receive sealed bids
in the City Purchasing Department for:
ITB#27-001 – SOUTH SERVICE AREA SEPTIC TO SEWER PROJECT

The City of Sebring is soliciting bids to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, management, administration, supervision, insurance coverage, and any other facilities and services necessary to successfully construct, start-up, and warranty the completed Project (South Service Area Septic to Sewer Project). The Project is generally described as a sewer extension project including gravity sewer, force main, a lift station, low-pressure sewer system, installation of grinder pumps, gravity sewer service connections, and connection to existing infrastructure.

Specifications and General Terms and Conditions may be obtained at mysebring.com and Bidnetdirect.com. Any questions regarding the specifications, terms and conditions, and/or the bidding process should be submitted via email to purchasing@mysebring.com. It is the responsibility of the bidders to check Bidnetdirect.com for amendments, changes, and addendums to the bid documents.

Bid envelopes must be sealed and clearly marked with the bid number and bid name. Bids must be delivered to:

Bids must be received by 3:00 p.m., December 10, 2026, according to the official time clock in the Purchasing Office, at which time they will be opened. Bids received after this date and time will be rejected. The City is not responsible for late deliveries due to incorrect addressing, personal delivery, mail services, or any other delivery method.

The submitting firm will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and ordinances of local, state and federal authorities having jurisdiction, including, but not limited to: all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41 CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804); all provisions of the Public Entity Crimes (Fla. Stat. §287.133, et seq, as amended) and the provisions in Fla. Stat. §287.134, et seq, as amended, regarding discrimination.

The Sebring City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part. If an award is made, it will be granted to the most responsible bidder whose bid and qualifications best serve the interests of the City of Sebring. The Council reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the bidding process.
