PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will hold a public hearing at the

West Pasco Government Center Board Room, 1st floor, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654

On December 8, 2026, at 1:30 PM, to consider a petition submitted by Barbara L. Wilhite to vacate the following platted right-of-way:

A PORTION OF THE PORT RICHEY LAND COMPANY SUBDIVISION LYING IN SECTIONS 4 AND 9, TOWNSHIP 26 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 1, PAGE 60-61, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF PASCO COUNTY, FLORIDA BEING FURTHER DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

COMMENCING AT THE SOUTH 1/4 CORNER OF SECTION 4, ALSO BEING THE NORTH 1/4 CORNER OF SECTION 9; THENCE RUNNING ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SECTION 4, ALSO BEING THE NORTH LINE OF SECTION 9, SOUTH 89°35’40” EAST, FOR A DISTANCE OF 40.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE DEPARTING SAID LINE, NORTH 00°00’38” EAST, FOR A DISTANCE OF 15.00 FEET TO A POINT ON THE SOUTH LINE OF TRACTS 55 AND 56, SECTION 4, TOWNSHIP 26 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PORT RICHEY LAND COMPANY SUBDIVISION; THENCE RUNNING ALONG SAID SOUTH LINE, SOUTH 89°35’40” EAST, FOR A DISTANCE OF 398.87 FEET; THENCE DEPARTING SAID SOUTH LINE AND RUNNING ALONG THE PROLONGATED EAST LINE OF TRACT 7, SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 26 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PORT RICHEY LAND COMPANY SUBDIVISION, SOUTH 00°03’10” EAST, FOR A DISTANCE OF 30.00 FEET TO A POINT ON THE NORTH LINE OF TRACT 7, SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 26 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PORT RICHEY LAND COMPANY SUBDIVISION; THENCE RUNNING ALONG SAID NORTH LINE, NORTH 89°35’40” WEST, FOR A DISTANCE OF 398.90 FEET; THENCE DEPARTING SAID LINE, NORTH 00°00’38” EAST, FOR A DISTANCE OF 15.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

CONTAINING: 11,967 SQUARE FEET OR 0.275 ACRES (MORE OR LESS).

All interested persons in support of, or opposed to the vacation, are invited to attend the public hearing and give comment.
