INVITATION TO BID
Register Construction & Engineering, Inc. (Florida License No. CGC062859) is soliciting sealed bids on behalf of the City of Clearwater from qualified subcontractors and suppliers for the Clearwater Executive Airport North Hangar Facility, 1000 N. Hercules Ave., Clearwater, FL 33765, for the City of Clearwater (Project No. 23-0016-AP).
The project is a new single-story, 9,600 SF pre-engineered metal building aircraft hangar with a 100-ft hydraulic hangar door, a bathroom, associated site work, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work.
Bids are requested for the following scopes: Earthwork & Site Work; Concrete; Miscellaneous Metals; Pre-Engineered Metal Building; Insulated Fire-Rated Wall Panels; Doors, Frames & Hardware; Framing & Drywall; Plumbing; HVAC; and Electrical.
Sealed bids must be received by mail at 3730 New Tampa Hwy., Lakeland, FL 33815, by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 8, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time; a Microsoft Teams link to the opening will be sent to prequalified bidders.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 1000 N. Hercules Ave., Clearwater, FL 33765; attendance is strongly encouraged. Attendees should park in the parking lot, and overflow parking is available in the AOA if needed. Please meet at the main terminal building to sign in.
Plans, specifications, and prequalification forms are available beginning Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from Jack Wood at jack@registerconstruction.net or 863-688-7775. All subcontractors must be prequalified by Register Construction & Engineering, Inc. to submit a bid. Prequalification forms are due by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
