It is the desire of the City of Tarpon Springs to encourage the participation of Small Business Entities and Labor Surplus Area businesses in this contract. While the City does not have any preference or set aside programs, in place, it is committed to a policy of equitable participation for these firms. If an offeror is considered for award, he/she may be asked to meet with City personnel so that the intended SB/Labor Surplus participation can be formalized and included in the subsequent contract.
