NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PASCO COUNTY
AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE

As a recipient of State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) funds, Pasco County is required to establish an Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC). The purpose of the committee is to review established policies and procedures, ordinances, land development regulations and the adopted local government Comprehensive Plan applicable to affordable housing; consider and evaluate the implementation of incentives previously adopted; and develop a report with specific housing incentive strategy recommendations for review by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) that seek to remove regulatory barriers that encourage or facilitate the development of affordable housing units.

The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on November 13, 2025, 1:30 PM at the West Pasco Government Center Board Room, 1st Floor, 8731 Citizens Dr., New Port Richey, Florida 34654, to adopt its final housing incentive strategy recommendations and its evaluation of local implementation of previously adopted strategies.

The final evaluation and recommendations report will go to the BOCC on December 9, 2025, 10:00 AM at the West Pasco Government Center Board Room, 1st Floor, 8731 Citizen Drive, New Port Richey, Florida.

Proposed AHAC recommendations and evaluations are available for review at the Community Development Department, 8610 Galen Wilson Blvd., Port Richey, Florida 34668. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard regarding the AHAC strategies and recommendations.
