NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on March 24, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at the West Pasco Government Center, Board Room, First Floor, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida, to consider the following matter:

AN ORDINANCE BY THE PASCO COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE V, DIVISION 3, SECTION 2-225, OF THE PASCO COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE PASCO COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES, SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Information concerning this matter will be on file and available for examination at the County Administration Office, 8731 Citizens Drive, Suite 350, New Port Richey, Florida, or on our website: www.pascocountyfl.gov, three days before the public hearing under the link “Agendas & Minutes.” For further information, you may call 800-368-2411 and request to be connected to County Administration.

All interested parties may attend the said public hearing and be heard regarding these issues, and to file written objections with the BCC, at the address above, before the public hearing. All interested persons in support of, or opposed to, the resolution are invited to attend the public hearing and give comment. To learn how to participate in this hearing virtually, you must pre-register by calling Customer Service at (727) 847- 2411 by 4 PM the day prior to the meeting.

Any person who wants to appeal any decision made by the BCC with respect to any matter considered at any meeting or public hearing will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made at their own expense, and which record includes the testimony and evidence on which the appeal is to be based. For meetings, persons may obtain a verbatim record of the proceeding by contacting the Clerk and Comptroller’s Office, East Pasco Government Center, 14326 6th Street, Suite 201, Dade City, Florida 33523, or at (352) 521-4345.
