The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Meeting in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, on March 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to review a Resolution 2026-03 to determine that the proposed South Brooksville Community Redevelopment Plan is consistent and compatible with the City of Brooksville Comprehensive Plan and to advise the City Council of their findings. If approved by City Council, the Resolution would authorize the creation of the South Brooksville Community Redevelopment Agency, a joint body shared with Hernando County. Copies of the proposed Resolution may be reviewed at the Community Development Department Office, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
