The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Meeting in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, on May 13, 2026 at 5:30 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to review a request to rezone property from C-2 (Highway Commercial) to Planned Development Project-Commercial (PDP-C). Located on the north side of Mondon Hill Road approximately 290 feet west of McIntyre Road, the property is approximately 5.14 acres in size.

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REZONING OF APPROXIMATELY 5.14 ACRES OF PROPERTY BEARING HERNANDO COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER’S KEY NUMBER 858717, LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MONDON HILL ROAD, APPROXIMATELY 290 FEET WEST OF MCINTYRE ROAD IN THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1, FROM ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION C-2 TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PROJECT-COMMERCIAL (PDP-C); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
