REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP26-028 RAILROAD SQUARE PLANTER ARTIST
The City of New Port Richey’s Community Redevelopment Agency is seeking proposals to retain a qualified, highly creative, and motivated artist or artists to design and paint a desired, and approved, planter wall designs on the front and back of the seven landscape planter walls situated along Nebraska Avenue in the Railroad Square portion of Historic Downtown New Port Richey. The images should align with the approved “Bending Light” theme and visually represent the story and progression as visitors walk through Railroad Square. A total of seven images would be created with the identical image being painted on both sides of the planter.
Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 p.m. on June 18, 2026 in the City Clerk’s Office, Second Floor, City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. Each submission shall contain one (1) original, four (4) copies and one (1) digital USB Drive and must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope with the artist’s name and address along with “RFP26-028 PLANTER ARTIST.” Any proposal received after the above-mentioned time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any questions regarding this Request for Proposal shall be submitted in writing to Assistant City Manager Rob Williamson at williamsonr@cityofnewportrichey.org. All questions must be received by 3PM on June 2, 2026. A response to all questions will be issued on June 9, 2026. The complete Request for Proposals may be downloaded from the City’s website at www.cityofnewportrichey.org.
The City of New Port Richey reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses, to waive irregularities, and to re-advertise as may be determined to be in the best interest of the City. The City accepts no responsibility for any response not reaching the prescribed delivery point within the time period stipulated.
