The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Meeting in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, on July 8, 2026, at 5:30 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to consider:

RESOLTION 2026-01 - A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, SITTING AS THE CITY’S LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY, RELATING TO THE REVIEW OF THE PROPOSED UNIFIED COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE SOUTH BROOKSVILLE REDEVELOPMENT AREA; PROVIDING A WRITTEN RECOMMENDATION REGARDING THE CONFORMITY OF THE PLAN, AS IT RELATES TO THE CITY PORTION OF THE SOUTH BROOKSVILLE REDEVELOPMENT AREA, WITH THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies may be reviewed at the Community Development Department Office, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Any person desiring to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered at this meeting may need a record of the proceedings including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, and, therefore, must make arrangements for a court reporter to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made.
