TAKE NOTICE that an action was commenced against the Defendant, PEARLINE SUTHERLAND in the Supreme Court of Judicature of Jamaica, King Street, Kingston in Claim No. SU 2026 CV 01733 in which the Claimant, DERRICK GORDON claims against the said Defendant for a declaration that the Defendant has disposed of her interest of the property known as Lot 222 Hermitage Housing Scheme, Hope Bay in the parish of Portland registered at Volume 1110 Folio 736, a declaration that the Claimant is entitled to the sole legal and beneficial interest in property know as Lot 222 Hermitage Housing Scheme, Hope Bay in the parish of Portland registered at Volume 1110 Folio 736 by way of Adverse Possession and that the Registrar of Titles be directed to correct the Register Book of Titles and issue a new Certificate of Title in the sole name of the Claimant and that it has been ordered by this Court that personal service of the Fixed Date Claim Form, Prescribed Notes, Acknowledgement of Service Form, Defence Form and Affidavit of Derrick Gordon in Support of the Fixed Date Claim Form on the Defendant, PEARLINE SUTHERLAND be dispensed with and that instead service on her be effected by two (2) insertions in a Sunday edition of this Notice of Proceedings in the New York Times Newspaper and the Tampa Tribune Newspaper one (1) week apart.

IF YOU the DEFENDANT - PEARLINE SUTHERLAND desire to defend the said action you must within fourteen (14) days of the second publication cause a Form 8A to be entered on your behalf in the Supreme Court of Judicature of Jamaica. In default of so doing the Court will proceed to hear the claim and pronounce judgment in your absence notwithstanding.

NOTE: IT IS REQUESTED that the attention of the said PEARLINE SUTHERLAND may be drawn to this Notice by anyone knowing the whereabouts of the person whom it is addressed
