NOTICE OF PROPOSED DESIGNATION OF A BROWNFIELD AREA
FOR REHABILITATION IN THE CITY OF TAMPA
The City of Tampa, Florida, proposes to adopt a resolution designating a brownfield area for rehabilitation pursuant to Chapter 376, Florida Statutes. The proposed brownfield area designation consists of three (3) adjoining parcels generally located in the vicinity of 3601 North Central Avenue, 3814 North Central Avenue, and 501 East Lake Avenue and is described in the “Staff Report on Robles Park Proposed Brownfield Area Designation” dated June 2026.
Public hearings shall be scheduled by the City Clerk to be held by City Council of the City of Tampa on September 3, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, and on September 24, 2026, at 5:01 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at Old City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Boulevard, Third Floor in City Council Chambers, Tampa, FL 33602.
Meetings and workshops of the Tampa City Council are conducted with a live in-person quorum of the City Council present in City Council chambers. Members of the public can attend in person in City Council chambers in Old City Hall or virtually participate in this public hearing by using what is referred to by State of Florida statutes and rules as “communications media technology” (“CMT”).
TO SPEAK REMOTELY DURING PUBLIC COMMENT WITH THE USE OF CMT PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Complete the form at https://www.tampa.gov/PublicComment AND state on the form under “Request Type” that you wish to speak live during the public comment period. You will then be contacted with additional instructions on how to participate live through the use of CMT. Registration for speaking remotely must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the Tampa City Council with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
