FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
DISTRICT SEVEN

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting regarding the proposed intersection improvements along U.S. 41/State Road (S.R.) 45 from Leonard Road to Carson Drive and S.R. 54 from U.S. 41 (S.R. 45) to Raden Drive in Land O’Lakes, Florida. The public meeting will be held in person on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Land O’ Lakes Recreation Complex, Activity Room 3-4, 3032 Collier Parkway, Land O’Lakes, FL 34639.

As part of the proposed intersection improvements on U.S. 41 (S.R. 45) from Leonard Road to Carson Drive and S.R. 54 from U.S. 41 (S.R. 45) to Raden Drive in Land O’Lakes, Florida, FDOT is proposing the following changes:
• Add a third left-turn lane on the north, east and south legs of
the intersection.
• Close the left-turn directional opening from eastbound S.R. 54
to Raden Drive and extend the existing traffic separator and
westbound queue length.
• Close the left-turn directional opening from southbound U.S. 4
1 (S.R. 45) to Carson Drive.
The proposed intersection improvements will enhance operations and safety along the corridor. Construction is anticipated to begin in fall of 2027.

To allow for maximum participation, the public meeting will be held in-person and posted online. The information presented will be identical for both formats.

In-Person Option: Attend the public meeting in person anytime on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Land O’ Lakes Recreation Complex, Activity Room 3-4, 3032 Collier Parkway, Land O’ Lakes, FL 34639. Attendees will receive project information, view project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team.

Project Website: Materials and the pre-recorded presentation will be posted to the project website on September 22, 2026, at https://www.fdottampabay.com/project/1231/458349-1-52-01.

FDOT is sending notices to nearby property owners, business owners, interested persons, and organizations to provide the opportunity to offer comment and express their views regarding this project and the proposed improvements.
