Notice is given that the Commission of the City of San Antonio, Florida will consider approval of Ordinance No. 02-2026, amending the parking regulations, during a public hearing to be held during the regular commission meeting scheduled:

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT CHAPTER 58, REGULATION OF PARKING, OF THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO CODE; PROVIDING FOR REMOVAL OF OVERNIGHT PARKING IN THE CITY OTHER THAN FOR IMPROVED PRIVATE PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC TYPES OF PARKING PROHIBITED AND LIMITED PARKING PERIODS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS; PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT BY CITATIONS IN ADDITION TO SHERIFF TICKETS; PROVIDING FOR SENDING DATA ON PERSONS WITH MULTIPLE UNPAID ENFORCEMENT INSTRUMENTS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAY SAFETY AND MOTOR VEHICLES FOR STATE ENFORCEMENT THROUGH AUTO LICENSING; PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC PARKING PERMITS TO SOME CITIZENS AND BUSINESSES BASED ON DEMONSTRATING NEED; PROVIDING FOR SEVERBILITY, CONFLICTS, INCLUSION IN THE CITY CODE AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
Interested persons can appear and be heard on this Ordinance at the Commission Meeting by attending the meeting and signing the request form. Copies of background materials, the complete proposed ordinance may be reviewed or obtained at the office of the City Clerk, 32819 Pennsylvania Avenue, San Antonio, FL, 33576 M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Any person who might wish to appeal any decision made by the City of San Antonio Commission in public hearing or meeting is hereby advised that he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he/she many need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which will include the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based (Florida Statute 286.105). Verbatim transcripts are not furnished by the City.
