NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS TO CONSIDER
LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Dade City, Florida will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall 38020 Meridian Avenue, Dade City, Florida, 33525 beginning at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the ordinance may be heard, and will consider the adoption of an ordinance to consent to inclusion in County-Wide Municipal Service Taxing Units.

AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY OF DADE CITY, FLORIDA, ADOPTED PURSUANT TO SECTION 125.01(1)(q), FLORIDA STATUTES, CONSENTING TO THE INCLUSION OF THE CITY OF DADE CITY, FLORIDA, WITHIN THE COUNTY-WIDE PARKS, RECREATION, AND NATURAL RESOURCES MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT, AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PASCO COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND THEREAFTER AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR THE CITY TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN SAID MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT FOR A SPECIFIED TERM OF YEARS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
The full text of the ordinance can be obtained from the City Clerk in City Hall, located at 38020 Meridian Avenue, and may be inspected by the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. All interested parties may appear at the public hearing and may be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance or may submit written comments to the City Commission at P.O. Box 1355, Dade City, Florida 33526-1355 by mail, or in person at the above referenced address. PLEASE NOTE: This is a public meeting. Should any interested party seek to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, they will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.
